Who We Are

Gibson & Associates, Inc. consists of Kristy Gibson and Carolyn Johnson (a.k.a. CJ), and a network of independent recruiters both on a local and national basis. We specialize in accounting and finance searches, and have been recruiting independently for over 12 years. We have worked with over 300 companies in the greater Puget Sound area.

Kristy was previously an auditor with Ernst & Young for over 14 years in the Seattle office. During that time, she handled alumni relations for E&Y and did job referral work on behalf of the firm. Basically, she would get involved in referring E&Y alumni to openings with client companies. She is a Seattle native and graduated from the University of Washington with a business degree in accounting. Her advantage as a recruiter comes from an extensive network and the ability to truly understand the hiring needs of her clients, given her own accounting background.

CJ was also with Ernst & Young for over 20 years.  She worked in administration and was a manager of a department for most of her career at the firm.   CJ participates in the recruiting process by identifying candidates, conducting telephone interviews, checking references, coordinating background investigations, scheduling interviews, and maintaining our website.

Fees

Our fees are client-company paid. We typically work on contingency searches for full-time positions.  Our standard guarantee is 90 days replacement at no additional fee.  Our standard fee is 30% of the candidate's annual guaranteed salary.
