Enterprise Accounting & Governance Director (1021)

​Well-known Seattle organization is searching for an Enterprise Accounting & Governance Director that will serve as the authority on institutional accounting practices, provide strategic oversight and expert guidance to stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a clear vision for institutional accounting operations, managing the daily operations of the Enterprise Accounting team, overseeing program development and management and ensure training and cross training on businses processes and systems. Qualifications include: Degree in Accounting or similar field; CPA required; 6+ years of relevant experience featuring substantial leadership roles; demonstrated expertise in external financial reporting, audit management, internal controls, risk management and compliance; strong understanding of applying GASB, GAAP, UG and state accounting standards; demonstrated understanding of enterprise systems; proficiency with MS Office suite; ability to work with diverse groups and teams; clear and professional communicator; advanced analytical skills. Salary: $140,000 to $150,000 DOE and the needs of the organization. ​Privately held real estate investment company seeks a Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, G/L processing, coordinating the annual financial statement audit and preparing selected PBCs, income tax, S-Corp and partnership distributions, preparing annual personal property tax affidavits and local and state B&O tax returns, supervising fixed asset processing,  verifying lease commissions and other projects as assigned.
